    A couple concerns

I was told that the department that I wanted to work for has a pretty laid back policy.
They are not looking for people who are perfect. They are looking for people who are honest. They have no listing of any automatic disqualifications. I am 20 and going on 21 in a couple weeks I will have my associates in criminal justice soon. Also I have done many ride alongs with the department. The deputy even gave me his personal number and said that whenever I went to ride I can call him. I have never been arrested. My concern is that I am going to over think the questions.

Here is the thing, I hung out with people have who only smoked pot and didn't have much respect for the law. I have never done any drugs. As far as undetected crimes that might raise a couple eyebrows is that I have bought tobacco products for a few people, but that has stopped. Also I gave only two prescription pills. It wasn't for sale. I'm just wondering how a department would view this.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. What were the prescription pills?
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

I don't think it would be a huge deal, depending on how long ago that was. If it was recent, you might need to put some time in between then and when you apply to show you're no longer doing stupid things.

Go back to school and finish up with a bachelor degree and put sometime in between the giving of drugs and the application.
