Five years ago, I applied to a number of police departments. However, I only ended up testing with one of those departments. For this one department ("Department A"), I took the written, the oral, and the physical exams, all of which I passed. Then I filled out the background investigation packet and took the polygraph, which I also passed.
At that point in the process, I determined to drop out of the application process because I had a non-law enforcement job opportunity. Now, I'm applying to a new department ("Department B"), one that I have never applied to before. Department B, in its application packet, required me to list all of the departments to which I have previously applied. Here's my question:
Will Department B obtain copies of my applications with the departments from five years back? Will they obtain my scores from the exams I took with Department A? Notes from my oral interview with Department A? What about my polygraph results with Department A? Background packet/investigation notes from Department A?
Thanks in advance.
