Quick question of where I might stand

I have a quick question regarding my background invesigation. It's has been 7 weeks since my polygraph and I did not hear any news about my background. Well I just heard that my former employers and current employer were contacted and my recruiter sounded excited and satisfied. So my question is where I might be on the BI? Towards the end or beginning? Could it be that my criminal background and credit checks are possibly completed ? I asked the recruiter but it wasn't clarified and I did not want to keep bothering. I just got the response that it was not done yet. So does anyone know if references and employers are contacted towards the end or beginning if a BI? Since it's been 7 weeks I'm thinking it should be done soon? Thanks

It's impossible for anyone here to say. It depends on the size of the department, they need to hire soon or not, the work load of the BI, etc. etc. etc. You can call and ask, just don't be a pest about it.
