    Qualifying for the job

My question is about the hiring process ., I have read a lot about drug abuse felonies Etc even bad credit that can disqualify a person from getting the job but what isn't answered..

What if a person is legally prescribed pain medication would that prevent that person from becoming a police officer ??? I am Mainly asking this question because that is my situation.. I have a full time job 10 hours a day in a hot factory building boats...

If someone knows the answer to this please let me know ...

The pain medication may be less of an issue than whatever medical issue you have that is so severe that it is causing you enough pain that you have to take medication for it.

    Why are you taking it?
How long have you been taking it?
How long do you NEED to take it?
