    Question on Civil Service appllication,

I’m new to the site and have a few questions regarding my application.
When it says (List neighbors on both sides of your current residence and previous or permanent residence.) then it also follows with (complete this entire section.) Does this mean keep going until i get six neighbors since there are six boxes or what, and how many residences back should i go? I’ve moved around a bit in the last couple of years and don’t really know any of my past neighbors.
What is the best way to approach my neighbors, head on by just saying i need this info for my LE application, or is a better technique out there?

One more question i have is, how can i get accurate dates for a ticket i got several years ago when i was 17 or so?

Thank you so much for your time.

There's no harm in picking up the phone and asking what the department wants. If it says fill out the section completely, it probably means fill out the section completely, but if you're unsure just ask. They won't shred your application for asking a simple question of clarification.

Unless you have a "problem neighbor" just stop by and talk to them for a bit and let them know about the application. Then get ready for them to ask you on a daily basis if you've been hired yet for the next several months.

Good news and bad news on this one: good news is you can get fairly accurate citation info, bad news is you gotta get it from the DMV. I'd suggest calling or emailing first so you know if you're able to go to a shorter line when you get to their office for this request.
