Forgot to ask, investigated for forced sodomy/abduction

When I was 16 a girl lied after giving me head and called the cops and said I forced her. Cops came to my door with a search warrant that stated the charges of "forced sodomy and abduction with intent to defile." The detective investigated and found there to be no force, the girl then admitted she lied. Will this be a problem in my BI? The reason I ask is due to my 2 firings for sexual harassment when i was 21 (6 years ago). I don't want it to look like I have some weird seuxal problems due to my extreme unluckiness.

You'll have to be honest about it and disclose it when asked.

If it was really unfounded and the reporting party admitted she lied, you'll be fine.

Being fired for two different jobs for sexual harassment is going to be very very hard to overcome though.

Even if it was 6 years ago? I admit I was really immature and stupid. The first time I asked a girl out to lunch and she got offended and the second time I was on the phone with my girlfriend on speaker and I told her to talk dirty to me just joking around, she didn't do it but apparently my partner got offended (I was an EMT on a private ambo). I've been at the same place now for 6 years.

Yes, it will be a problem even if it was six years ago.

Time will help a little, but once can be a mistake, and twice is a pattern. Expect to be asked about it during your background investigation and psychological tests.

Damn didn't know "Hey want to go to lunch?" Is a sexual deviant. It would be rather sad for them not to hire someone so qualified for that one reason.

I don't know what happened, and I never said you were a deviant.

But in my experience, you ask a girl out once, and nothing happens to you even if she is offended and says no.

"Harassment" has the connotation that there was a pattern. Expect them to contact the other people involved to get any and all versions of the story.

See thats the thing, I was never told no and never told stop and both times it was based on one incident. Don't some places only ask for 10 years history anyway?

    I don't know. Some might.

    My applications all read:

No, you did not mention that.

No, it won't make any difference. Standards are standards no matter who you are married to.

I'm going to try the big cities anyway. My wife said I'll have a much better chance of only trying big cities. Their standards are much much lower than suburbs or towns, according to her.

You come on here with a name of "Dr. Shaggy Phd." Claim your wife is an officer and your were fired for sexual harrassment two times as well as investigated for a sexual assault. Good lord kid, get a life and go play a video game or something.
Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"

    Shag,

You will most certainly be viewed as a liability. The axiom of "where there's smoke, there's fire" will come to mind in anyone conducting a review of your application or background questionnaire.

You will not like hearing this, but I doubt being sworn in as a law enforcement officer is in your near future.

Of course, I could always be wrong, so put those applications in and see what happens.

You might be able to convince a law enforcement administrator that you were simply the victim of cruel circumstances after being investigated for sexual misconduct and being terminated twice from gainful employment based upon allegations of sexual harassment of females.
This career is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

We consider any kind of sexual " misbehaviour / issues " as very important since as a sworn officer, you will have to take custody of and transport female prisoners by yourself.

Alright cat. How much more time should I let pass? Or what can I do to show that I'm not a sicko?
