Every department is differant. Ask a recruiter at the department you tested at. I'm sure they will be more than happy to give you all the info. Or you could go on their web site.
And your whiney *** crybaby excuse would be....

I know at my department, after the written test, comes the oral interviews which are given to the top 15 or 20 scores from the written test. Those 15-20 people are then called in for an oral interview. Then comes the physical agility test. Then the polygraph, the background investigation, the medical exam. Then they are called back for another oral interview. After the backgorund, and orals and physicals are done a list is drawn up with the final scores.

Be patient, it's a long process.

Do u think I will be called back for the next part. I scored a 85 and my rank is 22 but there are about 8 to 10 people over me that has an 85 as well. Would they do like all 85's and up or do they stop around 20 people. Please let me know thanks.

How many openings are there? It all depends on that.
Someone I know applied for a civil servant job, scored 5th, but there was only 1 opening, and he didn't get called in.

Out of curiosity, how many people are on the list?
