No apologies necessary. Just read the rules and get a fill for the place and it's inhabitants, before you start posting ad naseum. Like all communities, there is an established culture and norms. Adhere to those and you may even start to enjoy the place and have fun and educational interaction with its members.

I appreciate the info. If only other members were kind enough to understand I am new here and to direct me to a better understanding without giving me negative rep and ultimately flagging me as a bad person. A simple statement goes a long way. Because of this I have respect for you, whereas I lack respect for those that instantly judged me and put me in negative standing with the community. I mean really? Ruining someones reputation for the mere fact of commenting on old posts? A bit extreme if you ask me, after all I just joined yesterday, maybe be nice to new people and allow them a chance here instead of instantly beating them over the head for such a minor infraction.

Also, upon further investigation the forum rules do not mention posting in "old" topics. I am not attempting to be a smartass here but as it is not against the rules, why am I even being harassed about this in the first place.
