    criminal history?

Hello everyone my name is Henry Chavez and currently reside in Bay Shore, NY. 30 years old and currently in college looking to obtain a degree in criminal justice.

My question is I took the nypd test and scored a 92 and was wondering if they call me do i have to disclose the fact that when I was 16yrs old was arrested along with my friend for shop lifting, i was ordered by the judge to complete 200hrs of community service at a church. He told me that if I stay out of trouble it wouldn't stay on my record. I completed the hours with no problems.

And on 1999 i was arrested for driving with a suspended liscense for failure to pay fine. I didn't know it was suspended, payed a fine and liscense was active again, thats about the only things.

If they do call me what will my background show for those cases? closed or sealed

    Should disclose these arrests

Tell them about both. Neither are probably a huge deal because they were so long ago, but if you don't and they find either, you're history.

Be honest. If they find out even after you're hired, you will be fired for lying and no one else will ever hire you. Just disclose it.

Especially since your real name can be found just by googling the username with which you posted this message. Think about it: your BI will probably google your name to see what you have on Myspace and Facebook, and then they find your screen name, and google your screen name, and this message board pops up? You will be done before you even begin.

Yes you have to disclose it. If you don't and when they find out about it, you will be disqualified and blacklisted for failure to disclose the information during your background investigation.
