Is this going to disqualify me?

Im 21 years old, the legal drinking age. My friend is 20 years old, he turns 21 in August. About a month ago, I was over his house and I bought some alcohol and let him have some of it. Not enough to for him to get drunk, not even enough to get him buzzed. I watched him the whole time, made sure nothing happened to him.

Afterwards, I told him that I felt bad that I did that and I told him that I'll never do it again because its not right to do that.

Im in my 3rd year of college, good job for the last 2 years straight, officer in a club, and Senator in the student government. I dont know WHY I did this, I knew it was wrong, and like I said, I told him flat out that will never happen again so he better not expect it.

But now Im worried that this will be a DQ. I've asked some other police officers, they said no but that I have to wait a while, some said it wont just be honest about it, but I dont know for sure. Some advice?

I doubt it will DQ you if everything else is okay. Don't worry about it.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

First of all jb89505, Welcome to RP from the Florida Panhandle! Usually we ask our newest members to go to the New Member Introductions forum and post a thread telling us a little about yourself before jumping right in and asking questions. Walking in to our internet home and just slinging the questions around is considered bad form here.

As to answering your question, I agree with RDS above, shouldn't be much of a problem as long as all else is good and you're truthful about it.
