Hey guys how are you doing? I had a question about a interview i had today for a Correction Officer position. I was doing fairly well through out the whole interview and a unexpected question came out of the blue. One of the Sergeants had mentioned that he is really big on team work and family on his shift. When i tried to reply i got stumped and mumbled a bit trying to wing it, the Sergeant replied wow man your doing really good right now i don't want to stump you. I replied back i am sorry i can not answer it right off the top of my head right now. He said it was fine i wanted to know out of your experience would that count against me?

Short answer, yes. Thinking "on your feet" is a very big plus.

Anything and everything can count for or against you. Life is a test. As a CO you will be tested daily by your " clients " so you will always need to be on your toes.
