I'm 16 and my goal is to be an FBI Special Agent. Any advice?

As this is a law enforcement forum the view point on which is better may be one sided, but both fields should be explored rather than disregarded.

Come on, take a step down from your high horse. No one - not me or anyone else who responded to this thread - said law enforcement is more important, "better," or whatever colorful descriptor of favoritism one wants to use over intelligence. Since the OP asked for the intel links in a subsequent post, no foul in posting them, but to say that simply saying intel and LE are two different animals shows the superiority of one field over the other is just ridiculous.

Rlong, if you need someone to acknowledge that intelligence is an important field for you to have self worth, fine: it's an important field. But stop putting words in other people's mouths. Also, I don't want to counsel you again on continually drifting threads off topic. If I have to tell you more than once again, I'll let you take a day or two on the beach so you can realize site rules apply to you as well.

BigDenny, hope you got some info that you find useful, or at least puts you in the right direction. No harm meant, but since this thread was originally intended to be regarding the Federal Bureau of Investigation (vice CIA, NSA, or other IC agencies) and continually gets taken off course by Rlong, I'm going to close this one for now. If you have further questions about intelligence agencies, you can try starting another thread, but realize the useful info will be limited, both due to the classified nature of these jobs and the fact this site is a law enforcement forum with the majority of members having no real dealings with intelligence agencies.
