    While I'm not anywhere near as experienced as the two who have already commented, I will say that I have quite a bit of experience applying to many different agencies before finally getting on with the one I really wanted. I would agree with what both have said above, it sounds like you may be over-worrying, making a mountain out of a mole-hill if you will, about some things. You should be alright from what you've posted.
