I'm taking my written exam on the 31s for the Sacramento Police Dept. I'm pretty sure what to expect, but a friend told me that there is a part in the exam where there is a paragraph with blanks in it and you have to fill in the blanks with the right words. Anyone ever here of this? How do you practice for this? Anything else I should look out for?

well, since no one answered i asked someone who would know and suggested I practice crossword puzzles.
