Right, I will put down that i took the NYPD application, but that doesn't mean they will get access to it and look over it. Only if you give them a reason too. There are tens of thousands who take it every year and nothing comes of it. so just by putting that you took it, doesn't really mean anything.

100% INCORRECT! If you got printed you did not just take the test. As a former cop at APD I can tell you we got calls all the time. "Hey, we have an applicant with SID#12345678, whihc is coming up as a NYPD application, can you tell me their disposition?" "Sure...hold on.....OK, we DQ'd them for psychological reasons." "Can we get a copy of their application and psych report?" "Sure, give me your e-mail address and you can have it ten minutes or I will mail it out regular mail today."

Done deal. In my short time there, I did an average of 3 a day on my shft to those who got my line. Figure two shifts a day, with 80 cops......400 calls a day. And I woudl call them for the same.
