I had a false reporting on my record but the charge has been set aside I was told by azpost that since its something that involves dishonesty they would petition my certification once i applied and set it to a panel and try to get them to deny me certification but she said she couldn't tell me for sure that's just wwhat she had seen in the past. Am I screwed? should I bother to pursue a career in law enforcement?

My opinion is that you're screwed, but I'm not the AZ POST board.
Read through the Integrity Bulletins they put out every other month. You can see what kind of bone-headed stuff gets applicants and cops jammed up. From there, you can make your own decision on what they'd say.
