    Previous employers...

For anybody who is a LEO, or has some knowledge with the hiring process:

When filling out this portion of the application, do they want EVERY job you've ever held? I had about a million jobs in high school, I'd quit once hockey or baseball started, then do something else when I had the time.

I'm not trying to pull a fast one by any means...but would it be suitable to just list my Military Service and full time student status (it's been either the Military, or college since I was 17).

I only put my Service on that portion to get into the Academy, I told the interviewers that during the interview and they said it's fine. But will the PD's want more? (ie-working at subway when I was 14 etc...).

Like I said, I'm not trying to play slicky boy...I just want to know if it would be a waste of time.

    Thanks ahead of time

For the fed process, it was EVERY job in the last 7 years. If they want to go back a given amount of time, I would list everything in that time. I've done a few BIs in my time and that is how you should do it.

I remember having to list every residence in college. That included 2 dorm rooms, home in the summers, the fraternity and married student housing. It sounds like no big deal, but I had to have someone that had actually been to each one... try this without repeating references! LOL

Best bet is to be as thorough as possible. Any doubts, contact the recruiter for the dept you're applying to.

If they want to know EVERY job you've held, then list EVERY job you've held.
Here, if you don't, they consider that "not following directions" and they throw your app out.
