    Bpad

Hey everyone! I just received my letter from the Dept. telling me that I had passed my BPAD and that my application was selected for further prccessing! Im floating right now!! My question is how exactly do they grade a BPAD? Is it PASS/FAIL or is there some kind of points system that gets added to your written/oral/phys agility??? Thanks

It is a point system for the passing or failing of the B-Pad. Each scenario has a few categories that are graded.

Every dept. is different as to how they calculate the scores for overall ranking. Some things are pass/fail only while others are scored. Then there is the percentage side.......Written 30%, Oral 40%, B-Pad 30% or whatever combination they want.

Thanks rdp. I'm not sure how this dept. grades it , I'm sure glad I passed it though! I have my poly on the 29th. Since the academy starts in March I should know soon if I have a shot at it. Quick question though, It's a given to wear a suite to a review board, but what do you wear to a poly test???? Same? It is still an interveiw? Thanks for your time! Be safe.

    Suit for any interview.

For the poly, I would wear either a shirt with tie or a polo shirt with nice slacks. If in doubt, call and ask what dress is appropriate......
