    Question about power test

I just applied to another department and on an information packet they gave me it states that the power test will be on an "observation basis" and not "pass fail". I am not sure what this mean exactly. Is it that it doesn’t matter what the standards are for the POWER test and they will only advance the top candidates?

Did you try asking that particular department?

here is the email they sent me after i asked them this same question.

"All candidates will be required to participate in the PAT, but candidates will not be eliminated from testing if they do not pass one or more of the components. All candidates must pass the POWER test before entering the academy. You should arrive for testing prepared to take the POWER test."

Do you have any special POWERS? To be in LE, you have to have some type of special POWER! My special POWER is in education. I have a PhD in BS (piled higher and deeper in bull $hit) .

Seriously, I have never heard of the POWER test. Please keep us posted. Be Safe.

Note to OP: they probably wouldn't be asking you to complete it if they weren't going to use it in SOME form or fashion to evaluate you.
