Disclose EVERYTHING. Don't count on there not being records of you entering and quickly departing military service. Better to disclose and them not care than to not disclose and they find out.

Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

If you have discharge papers from the Reserves, there is a record somewhere. I'm trying to read between the lines, but I'm guessing you already applied for a cop job somewhere and you're trying to now figure out how to disclose this.
It's really NOT that difficult. Make a phone call to someone and ask. Every department handles things differently.

For what it is worth, I completely agree. Whoever does the BI will get up with you, and you will have a chance to have your say. Always go with disclosure. While they may look hard at you and the circumstance, they won't think twice about dumping you if they think you have tried to hide something.
Good luck!
