Another one... "To Call or Not To Call"

Well I thought I was seeing the finish line to the application process. I did the interview, psych, background, and polygraph, now ive been waiting.
I took my poly on Oct. 31st. After my poly the Chief told me that I would be hearing from him within 1 week of my test and he really emphasized 1 week of my test. Well its been 4 weeks and still no word. Should I call and just check the status of my application process or just keep waiting to hear back from them.

I would definitely call. What you do is ask for the status of the application. They frown on calling multiple times a week, so I think you are safe there. I have applied a few times to LEO positions (successfully hired twice), so I know the game pretty good.

Thanks for the input! I will definately call this afternoon and just ask for the "Status of my application process". Ill let you know what they say.
