I'm sure alot of us on this board are prior Military...and we all know what happens when it's time to leave and pursue the greener grass.
Turn in ALL of your gear to supply/CIF prior to going home!
Well, I'm an outdoorsman, and all of those poly-pros/field jackets/gortex socks/beanies etc...they're a good thing to have when chasing Elk in the Rockies ;) .
They gave me a list telling me what I had to give back prior to them signing the block on the out-processing sheets...and I gave the stuff back.
Alot of other Soldiers were recquired to give back the cold weather stuff we got issued for a deployment, but I personally was never told to give it back. Being a good troop, I took the initiative packing them in the bottom of my A-bag and sent them home...never told anybody, and nobody ever brought it up prior to me leaving.
Could this be considered stealing from an employer?
