    Disqualification question

I am currently a student at Penn State University earning a degree in Crime Law and Justice and Computing and Statistics. I am taking an exam on November 5th for the Chesterfield VA pd. Basically, I am kind of worried about the background check. I am currently 22 and when I was 20 years old a 17 year old female had sent me naked pictures of herself. Other than this, I know I would pass. I have never so much as tried drugs in my life, never had a speeding ticket, I did get a parking ticket about 3 years ago, and got pulled over when I was 17 for because a friend was sitting in the back of my truck. But other than that I have never done anything. I know this was a huge mistake on my part, but I did it and I know I can not take it back. Also, I did not have sexual contact with her. Just the pictures.

No insight for you, but I have been in process with Chesterfield since March, so plan on it taking some time. When you meet with your bkdg investigator, they'll ask you, and let you know what they think.

I know competition is crazy right now, so it may hurt you. When I tested, they did the written and PT for about 150 folks, and I know they have done testing about 10 more times since then...so they have a very large pool of qualified candidates to pull from..

ok thanks. Like I said, I am taking the test here at Penn State, do you know if they are making us do the PT the same day? I tried calling the department and left a message but no one has called me back yet. I'm not sure why. I really have no idea what to expect from the written test. Not much info was given.
