Well, I have now passed the background, oral board, polygraph and the physical agility. Now moving onto my psychological evaluation later this week! Only one step left until the big waiting game! As long as the voices stay quiet I think I'll be okay!

Congrats! We are in the same boat pretty much! i passed everything else except my polygraph.

I'm pretty sure all departments do this differnetly so unless were applying to the same one this probably will not be too helpfull. If I remember correctly, I was contacted for an oral board review aproximately one month after turning in my background packet and from there things were pretty quick. Here is a rough outline of my timeline so far...

Online Application (one month wait)
Written Test (one week wait)
Background Packet (six week wait)
Oral Board (one week wait)
Poly (three day wait)
PA Test (one week wait)
Psych Review (18 days and counting)

I think at this point I will be waiting a few more weeks. As I understand it, there were three groups testing for the upcoming academy. I'm currently waiting on the last group to catch up before they decide who they are going to hire. Fingers crossed!
