When an individual runs their own check on themselves are the results they receive exactly the same as what LE sees?
Also, what's the difference between CJIS (Federal level) and NCIC background checks?

Hope you are now un-flabbergasted.

Why are you asking this
You guys are horrible. It's clear I'm not going to get an acceptable answer here. I think this thread needs to be deleted or locked before it goes any further.
are you checking this expecting to find warrants out? is that why your concerned that federal authorities are restricting access to your own files through your log on? I dont think you can have a legitimate reason for being concerned about this. just come clean with what you did and it will go a lot easier.

Is that a promise or a threat? I guess there's no such thing as free speech on this forum? I ask a legitimate question, get pummeled by ridiculous responses and I'm not suppose to respond?! If that's how you deal with someone speaking their mind then you'll just be doing me a favor and I'll just pass my experience along to anyone willing to listen in any available format.
For the couple of people that have attempted to answer I appreciate it. For everyone else, save it for someone who cares.
Did I strike a nerve? You must be really busy working your "high crime" district in Indiana. Go write a ticket or something and leave the real police work to the guys actually fighting real crime. You know, the stuff that gets officers shot. You brought nothing at all to this thread except your retarded remark. You really impress me with your professionalism.
WE dont walk into your house and pop a squat and sh*t on your rug. Dont do it in ours.

1. In Virginia, people can request their criminal history from the State Police. I am not a Trooper, so I don't know if any info is redacted from what they give or not, but it is generally the same info as a standard NCIC/VCIN check.
2. No such thing as a 'CJIS background check'. CJIS is the name of the FBI facility that processes requests for info to LE. CJIS administers NCIC and UCR among other things.
3. You need to grow up. Officers don't come here to answer your (or any one else's) questions. That is simply a byproduct of them coming here to relax, unwind and socialize. They are not paid for their time, and frankly could care less whether you are satisfied with their answers or not. If they want you ask follow-up questions they are within their rights, and it's certainly no reason to get your feathers ruffled.
