Word of advice (nothing too new about this topic), make sure to follow the application deadlines to a T. I was recently filling out an app today and the closing time was 1700. I tried to submit it a few minutes after that, and a message pooped up saying "applications for this position are now closed." It sucks because it was a dept I really like. :(
Stay on top of your crap and don't wind up missing out on an opportunity because you were lazy like me!
