i am 36 would like to become a police officer in Georgia. I would like to get sponsored,payed training.can any one tell me where to start

Find out if they agency you want to join is hiring, and go fill out an application. Most departments here will sponsor you through the academy.

I would suggest looking into reserves first. Just a thought, but sometimes the police world is a lot diff then it looks. With reverves at least if you dont end up liking it you dont end up wasting your money on something you hate. If you do like it, sometimes you can get your department to foot the academy bill.
