    Sorry

I hate to be this guy but I'm considering entering the Police Academy next fall.

If someone smoked marijuana 10-15 times over the course of two years how much time should one put behind them?

I understand that the background check isn't a weight system where you can outweigh the bad with enough good, but nonetheless I was wondering what kind of volunteer work you'd suggest to someone who is interested in law enforcement and more specifically in helping their community?

I know you guys get to many of these questions but I appreciate your time.

I don't think there is any volunteer work that has more weight regarding doing a "good thing" over another. If you feel inclined to do volunteer work, do whatever suits you.

20-30 years. There are too many other applicants who haven't touched the stuff. If you have any chance at all, you'd better bring a helluva lot to the table.

Your way beyond experimentation. Chances are slim.
