    Safe to say?

This question is directed more to the verified leo who have been involved in conducting backgroung investigations. My question is...is it safe to say that if an investigator is contacting prior dept you've applied and failed in, he has gotten past the first "chunk" of history? Do you think all the initial information such as financial, criminal, education and work history have been approved?

Backgrounds don't get "approved" in pieces. Everything is put together, and then decided on one way or another.

I could see a BI calling another department as the first step, to see what they found. I could see it last. It's not "safe to say" anything until you get a letter. ;)
