Fixing old screw-ups?
I have an "interesting" employment history. Basically, I've had a bunch of jobs since I was 16. Some ended well, some didn't. I'm not going to get into too many details, but the question I have is this...
If I put in time at a single job for the next number of years, do well, get positive reviews, etc., can my old history of transient working habits be mended? Keep in mind, during my work history, I've been stable in school (BA in May), community activites, internships/volunteering with police agencies. I figure if I do well at a job for awhile, give or take 5 years, it would help my chances more and I'd have a better shot at landing a cop job than I do now.
Wiggum: Put out an APB on a Uosdwis R. Dewoh. Uh, better start with Greektown.
Friday: That's "Homer J. Simpson", Chief. You're reading it upside down.
Wiggum: Uh, cancel that APB. But, uh, bring back some of them, uh, gyros.
Friday: Uh, Chief? You're talking into your wallet.
