    Investigator calling

When a background investigator contacts or sets up a meeting with a dept you were dq from in the past, what does that process consists of? Does the investigator just ask for reason of dq or do they want to know more? If they pretty much have your background already in front of them on paper, minus that dept reason for dq what else would they have provided to them?

My bg investigator will call/or meet with the last dept I applied and failed the bg with due to my credit history ( only blemish in my bg ) this coming Monday. Since then I've cleaned up my credit a great deal. Just curious of what to expect. Thanks!

They will find out the reason for the DQ, look for any references you may have put down with the other department but not the current one, and will also talk about the entire background packet to make sure things weren't omitted on the new application that were put down on the previous agency's application.
