More experience???

This is a question to police officers.........as you may have read from my previous posts I am worried about my background quite a bit.......... Well i am a week away from graduating from police foundations a course offered in Ontario....... I currently work 3 security jobs trying to gain experience... i am 20 yrs old.... I want to get on the Toronto Police as soon as I can and start my career.... I volunteer when i can and I try to better myself every day whatever way I can..... Is there anything else i can do to help my chances oif being sauccessful right away......... Advice would be appreciated................PS my biggest concern is the theft from my previous employer when i was 17, to be honest I have no idea why The heck i did it.... I wont use the "I was young excuse" but I did do it and There is no taking it back.....What should I say about it, I think about that question every day since it happened, and to be honest I dont knw why I did it........
