i have used meth when i was 17, i joined the navy when i turned 18 and havent used any illegal drugs since, im now 26, does this disqualifies me if iused it twice? is it a permanent dq?

Meth is a permanent and automatic DQ for every agency I'm aware of. Maybe there are some that have more liberal hiring policies out there, but I don't know of any off hand. Even still, you have to consider that you'll be competing against others who don't have that as an issue in their background, so it won't work to your favor either way.
