lET ME START BY SAYING SORRY ABOUT THE LONG THREAD!!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME, 3YRS MARINE CORPS , GOING ON 2 YRS RESERVE NAVY AND PLAN ON DOING ALL 5 BRANCHES, I GOT MY CDL B LICENSE BUT I GOT TWO PROBLEMS,
#1 I GOT A MIS. LARCENY CONV. THAT I GOT EXPUNGED OFF MY RECORD (GOD BLESS HYTA)
#2 I STAY IN THE POOREST CITY IN USA DETROIT,MI

all my life ive wanted to be a cop (swat) and now im 28 and ready to become one and had joined the military the day after my high school graduation so that i could impress my investagtors, but i got caught that case when i was younger

A single theft conviction from when you were a kid will not completely prohibit you from being a cop. Military service will help show that you changed.

If you get hired as a cop, you will have to wait at least another 3-5 years before you get a spot on a tactical unit or SWAT team.

None of this has anything at all to do with a "man down," BTW...

As a foreigner with spelling mistakes all the time I think I can tell something to you:

Work on your way to write. Use big and small letters. The most used weapon of a cop IS HIS PEN. It is necessary to write without mistakes if you work in the LE field!.
Evenhand (Cop Movie): You can't be everybody's friend

There are two things I'm good in, the second is arresting people

I'm looking for Drug/Narcotic Unit patches together with DUI/DWI unit patches for a frame in our Anti-Drug-Team bureau

Also looking for Massachusetts Police and US Capitol City PD patches now!

Patchcop liest und schreibt viel besser in Englisch als ich in Deutsch. Er auch offensichtlich liest und schreibt in Englisch besser als der erste Kerl.

How would that have any effect on getting a job? There are hundreds of other Police or Sheriff Departments you can apply with in Michigan.

You could always move out of that hell-hole known as Detroit.

    Anything's possible.
and if so should i tell them about it.
You are not going to find anyone here that will think that a good idea. Try it if you want and see how well that works out for you.

The question is, can you overcome the hurdles neccessary to 'obtain your career'?

Interesting choice of thread title. I've fixed it up for you.
