Lessons learned so far

First week of orientation just completed. Scheduled for range qualification this week, then into uniform. Already did a test run with the Glock and Gold Cup Nat. Match and shouldn't have any probs.

I now see the wisdom of starting in the custody area. I've done a good job in my 45 years of avoiding folks like we have in custody. Better to get familiar with them in a safe, controlled environment. Also good to eyeball 'em 'cause for certain, you will be seeing them again.
