Is there a specific reason you think the answers you received on officer(dot)com were anything but candid responses?

The original poster did not list here (as (s)he did elsewhere) that the drug use was not listed on this application.
Dope PLUS Lying on the application equals DQ, IMHO.
Even absent a straight DQ, do you think that the other nine eligible people will have a set of issues like that? Even if you meet the minimum qualifications, you have to be the BEST QUALIFIED for the position.

If you intentionally lie on an application, and they find out 15 years later, you can still be charged with a crime and fired. Its one thing if you say you smoke about 10 times, and it was really 6 or 7, its another to say you've never, and in reality about 15 times.
