Well, I just go a phone call I wasn't expecting! I just did the oral board review Monday for a department I applied to. After walking out, I walked out without a feeling one way or the other about how well the interview went. Out of 5 people, I got the impression two liked me at least a little, two I got no indication one way or the other, and the fifth gave me the vibe that they didn't like me at all.
Regardless, I was told the usual "Don't call us, we'll contact you" line, and was told I would get a letter in two to three weeks with a yes, no, or you're on the eligible list.
Just got a phone call telling me I have an interview Friday with the Chief. I'm excited, but still in shock at how fast I got a call back!
Well, that's my good news for the day! The Steelers may have lost, my fantasy football team may be in shambles, and I may have just broken up with the girl I thought I would marry, but there's always something good around the corner!!!:D
