    CDCR background question

I am currently in the background with the california dept of corrections (CDCR )and I wanted to know if anyone out there had any experience in the background phase. I turned in my PHS in May and about a week ago I received a missing information letter asking for additional information. I was given 15 calender days to obtain and send in. I mailed it all in and called the investigator to touch bases. He said he had not seen my file yet and that it had not hit his office yet. The letter was signed by him but he had not seen my file? Anyways, with that being said, does anyone have any idea what I should look forward to? I am a former correctional deputy as well who left in good standing.
Only issue I have in my background is my financial history, bad credit and child support. I have paid 80 percent of my debt and shown verification. Thanks for your answers.

Unless it's an astronomical figure, the amount of debt isn't as important as your history of payment. If you can show there was a valid reason for getting behind such as medical or other unforeseen catastrophes, you will probably be okay. If you fell dramatically behind because of poor judgment and living beyond your means, it will hurt you pretty badly.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine
