Currently a Mass Court Officer since 2005, had a small stint as a part-time police officer in 2008 before getting laid off to budget buts and have 91/120 credits finished with the CJ degree.

heres the catch...

2005 - operation under the influence of alcohol; continued without a finding 1 year

ALSO - while working for the court, i worked one day a week as a valet (used to work full-time while awaiting court job). when i called them for employment record, they said they had on my file I quit without notice. I was working one saturday a week when I suposely pulled a couple no calls no shows.

Do these types of things ruin my law enforcement career?

I was placed on review with NYPD, which is ultimately where I wanna be, since Nov. 2007.

Supervisor investigator told me there is a 5 year gap between arrest and hire.

I've applied to different agencies such as nypd, cbpo. ice iea, fbi po, mta police, nyc doc, nys doc, etc
