there were a few parts i didn't understand when i first took the practice test.
1) you arrive at a crime scene where the victim is unconcious. 4 people give accounts as to who the suspect is and where they travelled. you have to pick which is the most accurate statement.
after i looked in the answer portion, it's process of elimination. very simple.
the directional questions were pretty simple. the only hard part was when the map was on one side of the paper, and the question was on the back. flipping back and forth became a pain in the ***.
the memory portion at the beginning isn't tough, but i'd recommend doing the practice test first. it'll give you an idea of what to look for and what to remember (e.g. sales, street addresses, people carrying things).
the toughest part is waiting to get inside. i took the test on oct 26 and something like 400 extra people showed up to get in, so we all had to wait for an hour after we sat down to actually start the test.
Wiggum: Put out an APB on a Uosdwis R. Dewoh. Uh, better start with Greektown.
Friday: That's "Homer J. Simpson", Chief. You're reading it upside down.
Wiggum: Uh, cancel that APB. But, uh, bring back some of them, uh, gyros.
Friday: Uh, Chief? You're talking into your wallet.
