Does anyone know if you will hear from a Police Department after you have passed the written test and the physical agility test? I have passed both and was wondering if I will get a call, pass or fail? This is a general question from anyones experience, because I know each department is different.

If you have not filled out any kind of lengthy background packet yet, I would think you'd get a call. They haven't yet had a chance to weed applicants out on individual merits.

Background packet already submitted
Background information was submitted. IObviously I know they will call me if they are considering me for employment. Will they call or send a letter to let me know my application has been denied? Again I know all departments are different.

It was a mix of both for me, sometimes even an email. So it's very hard to say exactly.

I dunno how they do it now. My results came by pony express......:eek: Seriously, there were too many to call, they just sent out a form letter.
