I had a question to ask if a driving while license suspended will hurt my chance of becoming a police officer. I was 19 at the time it happened and I was young and dumb this is the only thing that is on my record other than a seatbelt ticket. Ive never been to jail or anything like that. I joined the military as an MP and im now 24 and fixing to get out once my term is up this december. Thank you for your opinions.

nah it wont hurt. you'll have to explain it, but its not a disqualifier.You have to remember, there are very few 100% perfect applicants. almost everyone has some sort of small blimish on their record. the important things are you havent done drugs, been in trouble with the law, and your military. good luck and thanks for your service.

I had a suspension from when I was younger. They will ask about it, but it seems like you already know what to say. shouldn't be a problem.

Yes it will hurt, but it doesn't make it impossible.
