    Giving it a try....NYPD

Ok here is the deal. I am mainly putting this here for one reason and that is to show people that have a criminal passed if they have a chance to be hired by the NYPD.

OK I am currently 30yrs old.

Criminal- At age 16 in 1994 I received a misdemeanor for having in my possession a beer(unopened) $25 fine

Age 17 in 1996 Twice within a few weeks Arrested for Criminal Mischief. One was a Felony the other dismissed (This case was sealed YO) 5yrs probation (had to actually do 24 months on probation then I was done)

Age 18 in 1996 Once again Arrested and Convicted of Disorderly Conduct (Misdemeanor) $200 fine

    ------------------------------------------

Age 25 got ticket for no inspecting didn't pay it. Pulled over for speeding and found out my lic was suspended. Plead guilty to a reduced charge $225 fine

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Age 29 Same thing happened except this time I was parked in a parking lot and the ticket was supposably placed on my windshield(owner/op) NEVER got it! Month or so later pulled over for no reason except the cop had one of the cameras that signaled him that my lic was suspended. Received a ticket for Aggravated Operation plead guilty to a lesser charge (facilitating) $200 fine

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now don't get me wrong I am in no way saying that I will get in but I am going to try. You look at this and sure it looks bad but keep in mind most of this was 12,13, and 14 yrs ago. I won't be upset if I don't get in.

Also going to add here that I had to go thru a big investigation 5 yrs ago when I applied for my Suffolk county pistol permit. The outcome was APPROVED......I was shocked but yep they told me the things that happened when I was a youthful offender was not held against me.

I am actually looking forward to lots of people betting on me not getting in and thats fine. I will update the thread either way.

PS Taking my Medical Next week.

'94 you were arrested? or just given a summons to appear in court? No felony convictions and you are good to proceed with the process. The discon arrest might hurt you depending on the circumstances around that.

    A new term for "drive-by".

    BANG! BANG! BANG!

Person One: "What the hell was that?!?!"

Person Two: "A criminal passed....happens all the time around here."

    :p :D
‎...let me stop you right there, sir. There's only two of us standing here and only one of us cares anything about what you have to say.
