I think it's funny how this guy passed his mini med before his initial medical. Also if he didn't do the first medical...how did he take the psych? And why would there be a mini-medical 4 months before the start date? This kid is obviously full of it. With starting pay going up like it did, this kid better hope he gets in quick.

Sanitation makes great money....this guy won't have been smart enough to take that test.

I noticed that too...and after the announcement I'm sure the competition will definitely get much more difficult. I hope this is the end of unqualified applicants getting a pass. When I took my medical, there was a guy there who didn't even have on a suit. No jacket, no tie - and NO ONE said anything to him. One idiot even fell asleep! My jaw almost hit the floor when he wasn't thrown out. My friends told me that years ago he wouldn't have made it through the door. Hopefully now there will be applicants who view Law Enforcement as a profession and not a job.

lol, thats impossible how can you pass the mini medical with out taking the initial medical, thats so funny. He was caught in his own lie. I totally agree with you joe, I remember when I took my medical a year ago at lefrak I remember two candidates get kicked out of process for not dressing up in proper business attire. One woman dressed up in tight light blue jeans, jeans jacket and bangle earings, one of the ladies staffed there told her to go home and leave and they tore her paper work. Another guy did not have a tie and he too was forced to leave. Hopefully applicants do view law enforcement as a profession, but also as a career and not as 9-5 thing!
