Anyone have any insight into the MSP?

Hey everyone, quick question to anyone who might know anything about this. I took the civil service exam back on June 5th for the MSP and they told us that it would take 6-8 weeks for our results. My fiance works with a guy who also took the test and he told her that he got his results in just over 4 weeks. I don't know if it means anything as to how quickly he got his results, but he failed the test horribly. The web site still promotes that they are accepting applications for the 121st Trooper school, and I have read numerous articles that they already have a tentative date for the school to start August 10th. I can't honestly believe that they could be able to complete a hiring process (agility test all the way through to medical checks) in less than a months time...

ok let the floodgates of knowledge and insight open up!

-EDIT- MSP = Michigan State Police

    Look somewhere else...seriously

You'll have better luck with a local agency first...

And you're right. It takes a lot more then a month. Maybe they will establish a hiring list like they did before.
