Anybody here from Nebraska, or applied at any of its agencies? If so, which one, and what was your experience like?

i played a little college football in kansas. no LE stuff out in the midwest. i'll tell you what, if you aren't from the midwest, stay away, its not for city guys!

nope. not the jhawks. that would be cool but kansas state would be better. i played division 2 ball for fort hays state. i was ok. anyway, being from san diego i was in a hurry to get back.

"The Midwest rules"-sorry i cannot give you that one. of coarse i was in a city of 30,000 people and the closest city that was over 700 people was 100+ miles away. i could do denver (3 1/2 hours west)

I am in the process of applying for the Lincoln Police Department. I just had my oral interview last week and I have another interview this week. I should find out before Christmas if I'll get a conditional offer or not.

The written tests were easy, but 3/4 of those testing were eliminated and could not move on to the physical test. My first oral interview was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting at least 3 people, but there was only one person doing the interviewing.
