Well the good ol oral board was yesterday, and let me tell you that was rough. I had three detectives grill me for 30 minutes. When I left I figured there was no way I had passed and would have to start at beginning. Needless to say my recruiter went upstairs to talk to the detectives and they gave me a big thumbs up!
So now I have my conditional employment offer, all I need to do is pass the psych and medical exam and I am in the paid academy. Thank you everyone here for the help and pointers over this year long process. I am now one step closer, but definitly am not popping the cork on the champagne until final offer and I am in academy

Everyone thinks that they failed the oral because they tend to be a little rough on you

haha yeah they started getting real stern about calling in while not being sick. They just thought that I was not going to work, but they did not realize I put down there that I took personal days ( which we get 4 per year) to take dad to hospital so they were pretty quick to apologize it was actually kind of humerous.
