    credit history and police hiring

    Just wanted to ask those with more experience;
    Have 4 years as a dispatcher, 2 years as a licensed private investigator and no criminal history of any kind. No drug use/or around those who do. Only area of concern is credit history, which has a bankruptcy 5 years ago and 2 charge offs since(CC which refused any reasonable attempts at reduced payment).

    Given all of the above, what opinions do any TX LEO's have concerning my credit history and getting hired with a large department such as Dallas PD?

    Thanks in advance

    Does that = Would not accept less than you agreed to pay and for which they extended you credit?

    Both companies would not accept lower monthly payments, since I have a bankruptcy, I assume they felt no need to work with me on the lower monthly pmt.
