First you don't have to be "latino" to be a gang member.

Second, there are many hybrid gangs in which the membership consists of whites, blacks, latinos and asians. The Latin Counts are one of these gangs, despite their name being the Latin Counts.

Third, as has already been answered, yes, it could be considered a gang tattoo. But BIG wouldn't begin to classify you as such without other factors being considered.

Fourth, as a former gang officer, BIG SEXY would actually have to see the tat before making a call one way or the other on whether or not you are a gang member. He'd have to determine if it's blood line or motherland and whether it referenced a particular tribe.

Fifth, not all gang members have tats, nor do all gangs dress in your stereotypical gang manner.

Sixth, if you are referencing the Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation, with your question. All members aren't latino in all places.

Seventh, this question was better suited for "Ask-A-Cop" and not in Background Checks/Hiring Process.

But then again, that is just BIG's opinion.

Gangs have their own set of rules and codes of conduct. Difference being instaed of being fired, violations can result in a beating or homicide detectives making jokes over your corpse.

Have never heard of gang life being tandem to being a rebel and an outlaw. :confused: Not by any gang officer or gang member.

Thanks for the information... Does anyone know how the NYPD or any westchter county (ny) pd might react towards this tatoo. I know with the New York State Police, they give you a chance to remove it or get it fixed.
