    Medical Poly?

Hey guys. So far, I am really well along in the process. I have passed the physical, written, oral boards, psych (or so the psych told me), polygraph, and only have the medical ahead of me.

Whats new to me is I got a call today saying I needed to come down and take a medical polygraph (i haven't disclosed any medical information to them yet). I had never heard of this before, but I am assuming they just ask me a medical questionnaire then poly me on it?

Anyone ever done one of these, and what should I expect? Just health questions? Sickness, broken bones, defects, etc? Im assuming since I already did the long (2-3 hour) polygraph with background information, that this will strictly be medical. The gentleman said it will probably be about an hour. Does this one also contain some of those off-the-wall out in left field questions?

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Hey Tomahawk, how are you?

I am a first time poster and think this site is great!!
I work in law enforcement in Virginia as a Probation/Parole officer and am applying for a City Police Department in Virginia. I've also worked as a Deputy Sheriff, where a poly was not required.
I have a up-coming polygraph soon, which I have never had before. My question for you guys is this....if you admit to the polygraph examiner during the pre-questionaire that you stole something as a Juvenile, over 18 years ago that would be considered Grand Larceny, can they investigate you or try to charge you for the crime? Also, when I was a juvenile, I was charged with a felony (shoplifting), but after 6 months probation/community service, it was expunged (ot is not on VCIN/NCIC, I checked to make sure).
In other words, no matter what you did as a Juvenile, is it 100%confidential????

Any help you can give , I 100% appreciate it!!

Hey guys. I just wanted to update in case nobody else has done this before. This was a very simple polygraph in comparison with the background poly I took. This one only had maybe 50 questions total, and then less than 20 on the actual poly. They were all medical, with some touching again on drug usage and drinking. Examiner said all went well.

So, only thing left is the medical examination!

Congrats. I had never heard of a medi-poly, but with people lying these days and the inability to obtain medical records w/o a court order, it's no wonder this is being put into place.
